Hi, I’m Cindy. I am very, happily married to the love of my life, Rick, for 27 wonderful years. He’s my lobster (Friend’s reference). He has helped me grow in many ways. Rick and I sing together. He plays guitar and I play piano. He is also a songwriter and “handy as two pockets on a shirt”, a great handyman. He knows something about almost everything and can fix most anything. He is a wonderful father. I am so thankful God put us together, a perfect match.
I am the mother of the joys of my heart - three beautiful, grown daughters. Christi, 26, is my oldest daughter. She has helped me tremendously by taking over the daily grind of office work for our business and that allows me to be a housewife again. She is a gifted artist and loves sewing, writing and music (learning electric guitar). She is married to my wonderful son-in-law, Robert. Robert has been with us almost 5 years now, but it seems like he is one of my own. We have been truly blessed with such an amazing son-in-law. He has taken over the window treatment installation business from my husband so Rick can focus on our Plantation Shutter distribution business. He is also learning to play the violin. Jessica, 25, is my walking encyclopedia on food matters & a wonderful cook (hoping to study at Le Cordon Bleu soon). She has inspired me to look at our food in a whole new light. She is also a beautiful singer and a songwriter as well. She plays guitar and is working on the piano. My baby, Melissa, about to be 21, is an amazing photographer. God has blessed her with a wonderful talent behind the camera and in Photoshop. She also sings like an angel and loves to write, sew, play piano & bass, and knit.
God has placed us on 90 acres and directed us to get lean and prepare. He is teaching us how much our food affects us and how to give our bodies the nourishment He intended for them to have. Yet still have the enjoyment of eating delicious food. He is teaching us how to be self-sustaining, although, we haven’t gotten very far on that one yet. We are taking it a day at a time . . . praying, listening, and obeying, with our focus on our Father.
